Historic victory of the “Associazione per il Software Libero” in italian courtyards
My italian fellows at “Associazione per il Software Libero” have announced their victory in legal courtyards. They’ve decided to appeal a call for tenders for the supply of an amount of Euro 4.539.184,55 of Microsoft software licenses before the court (Regional Administrative Tribunal of Lazio in Rome) filing case n. 3838/2006.
The call requested Microsoft products without respecting italian laws on competion and the use of free formats and procedures in public documents.
The announce has been translated in six different languages at the time of this writing, so have a read yourself _and_ spread the word !
