Today I would like to introduce you the newest software for newsgroups reading for the Apple OS X platform.

It’s name is NEMO.

Finally after 6 years your favourite Operating System can run a real newsgroup application, native, compatible with the most recent Apple technologies and interface guidelines.

With the all in one interface based on tabs, the same as most popular browsers, you can follow different discussions at the same time and organize them with a simple drag & drop.

Nemo is being developed here in Italy by a person actively present in some Mac related IRC channels and it.comp. macintosh who, under the “pressure” of an expert user base has decided to develop himself a client respectin all the new technology introduced with the X operating system respecting all the tips coming from them. The result is this new born software, which you too will find impressive (*).

(*) = Probably the only “missing” feature is binaries support, from that point of view Unison is top notch, but with high bandwidth and p2p solutions at hand does it making sense ?
