During last month I’ve subscribed to the FriendFeed service, adding to it – as usual in the latest social networking sites – all the feeds coming from my various accounts around the web.
Then I became aware of the possibility to receive comments on each feed and then some notification via email once a day.
But the lack of time to follow my friend’s list, the potential of many comments to follow elsewhere than the place were the “real” content was posted and the subsequential shift of the focus from it took me to the decision to remove my account there.
So, if you too want to remove your account from friendfeed all you have to do is, being signed in, point your browser to this URL: http://friendfeed.com/account/delete , fill out the form and click on the confirmation button.
Thanks to Ana R. Yang of FriendFeed Inc. for having posted the link on their discussion group (even if this should go in a FAQ according to my opinion …. )
