Hi, this post is a test to see if and how bloGTK editor works with my WordPress.com account.
BloGTK! is a weblog client. Then one can aks himself: What exactly is a weblog client anyway?
A weblog client is a program that interfaces with various weblog systems like Blogger, Movable Type, or WordPress. Weblog clients allow you to manage your weblog entries without opening a new browser window and give your features that aren’t found with the default posting screens of your weblog client.
As always it’s completely integrated in Gnome desktop environment and you can follow his development reading the author’s blog.
Just a quick note, if you use it with a wordpress based blog you have to manually specify the xmlrpc.php file. Here on wordpress.com you have to insert http://yourdomain/wordpress/xmlrpc.php as the blog address …. so the full path to XMLRPC file.
