how-to turn OFF the SafeSearch filter on Flickr

flickr-withtext Even if I’m in love with the Flickr service (I’ve subscribed the service 3 years ago and this is my 2nd year as a Pro user) lately the content filtering applied by the U.S. based company has begun to fit me too tight.

People from Germany or other regions are subject to restictive laws, so the Yahoo proprierty has adopted a scrict policy on content navigation and searching to their tools, which for long time have been truly liberal and open minded on the contents proposed by their user.

If your Yahoo-ID is not based in Singapore, Hong Kong or Korea then you have the chance to set your SafeSearch preference simply clicking on this provided link.

(maybe you’ve got to be signed on to see it work)
